Field bus connectors

Rugged Ethernet Switch

Amphenol develops rugged and waterproof Ethernet Switches which offer 8 ports and can withstand extreme conditions: high temperatures, shocks & vibrations, dust or sand as well as liquid immersion. The Versatile Switch electronic circuits can be protected from the environment by an IP 30 casing, a sealed waterproof IP 67 plastic enclosure, or a full metal IP67 enclosure providing sealing as well as efficient EMI-RFI shielding.

RF connector solutions

Filters (MIL-C-24308, MICROD...)

Amphenol offer a large range of rectangular filter connectors such as Arinc 404, Arinc 600, Mil-C-24308 D-Sub and circular filter connectors such as  Mil-DTL-38999, Mil-C-26482, Mil-C-5015…, as well as specific geometries to meet customers applications. These products are available in different filtering technologies: Planar arrays and Tubular capacitors. The filter types are available in a wide range of capacitance and voltage values and may be selected in virtually any combination within the connector insert (Pi, LRC, CLR, C, T).

Overmoulding / Harnessing

Cost saving and performance benefits are achieved by a reduction in components as the overmould is fused directly onto the cable and connector, creating an extremely rugged, environmentally sealed assembly. The mould material compound can be specified to meet the environmental performance requirements of the system, eg. diesel resistant, low smoke zero halogen, and abrasion resistance. The NBC washdown performance of the mould compound exceed that of heatshrink technology. The moulding can be shaped to achieve straight or angled cable entry. By specifying Amphenol overmoulded cable harnesses, end users will benefit from low initial procurement cost, high environmental protection, and EMC/ EMP performance, high reliability as well as low through life training and maintenance cost.
