Amphenol introduce the SC39 connectors :
a new connector familly derived from the MIL-DTL-38999 series III norm.
The Snatch release SC39 connectors don't have any coupling device, a circular spring trapped in the receptacle, keeps the plug mated (No rotating ring or moving parts).
The SC39 connectors are available in different shell types :
- Plug 06
- Square flange receptacle P00
- Jam nut receptacle 07
- And specific shell
Stand-off (allows the fixing of the PCB)
Lanyard version available (Quick release connector supplied with a cordset)
Integrated backshells (allows the fixing of the cable braid directly on the shell)
Reinforced sealing of the rear of the connector (plug and receptacle)
The SC39 connectors exist in size 09, 11, 13 and 15 equipped with all the 38999 series III insulators, including the new low profile high density inserts :
Size 9 - 9 contacts size 23
Size 11 - 19 contacts size 23
Size 13 - 32 contacts size 23
Size 15 - 55 contacts size 23
