How can I increase the sealing of my receptacle ?

To increase the sealing of your Mini DisplayPort (MDP) receptacle, you have two different options :

  • You can use a MDP receptacle with a backshell (lien)
  • You can select a sealed or hermetic MDP receptacle (lien)

Increasing the sealing of your receptacle will protect your system against ambient influences. Dust and water or moisture are a constant hazard especially in outdoor applications.
