It is available with all 38999 series III layouts and similar materials than the RNJ. <p>The RNJ connectors ensures floatability and realignment while offering blind mate possibilities. <p>RNJ is derived from the D38999 series I and is HE308 qualified. Some components used in RNJ are similar to the ones used in LJT – D38999 series I, such as the contacts and the inserts.<br>RNJ connectors accept all 38999 series I and series III inserts. <p>Powersafe connectors&#39; layouts include 3 types of contacts&nbsp;:</p> <ul> <li>The protective contact&nbsp;: it is the longest one. The protective contact mates in first to secure the transmission of current.</li> <li>The pilot contact&nbsp;: it is the smallest one. The pilot contact mates in last to activate the transmission of current.</li> <li>Phases contacts which carry out the transmission of current.</li> </ul>
<p>Powersafe connectors enable high power transmission (over 500 volts) while being 100% safe for the users. &nbsp;The Powersafe connectors are derived from the D38999 connectors and qualified according to VG96944 standards.<br>Their main benefit is to provide user safety with a first-to-mate earth contact directly linked to the shell.
