Only metal shell versions are available. (see our catalog section LJT-HE308)</p> <p><strong>MIL-DTL-38999 series II connectors</strong> (<span style="color:#1b5eaa;">Amphenol JT series</span>) are<u> bayonet coupling low profile</u> connectors, with non scoop proof design, available for connectors size 8 to 24. EMI grounding fingers are optional in JT plugs. Only metal shell versions are available. <p>The «&nbsp;IP&nbsp;» defines the resistance of the product against solids (first number) and liquids (second number).<br>When mated, the Powersafe is defined as IP68. The number 6 corresponds to the protection against the dust and the sand. The number 8 corresponds to the pressure watertight&nbsp;: the product can hold 48h under 2m water.<br>When unmated, we proceed to a finger test on the socket insert/contact. <p>Powersafe connectors enable high power transmission (over 500 volts) while being 100% safe for the users. &nbsp;The Powersafe connectors are derived from the D38999 connectors and qualified according to VG96944 standards.<br>Their main benefit is to provide user safety with a first-to-mate earth contact directly linked to the shell.
