<p>An Active Optical Cable (AOC) for HDMI is a hybrid cable that combines fiber optics for data transmission and copper for power supply. Unlike traditional HDMI cables, AOC HDMI can transmit 4K UHD at 60Hz over long distances (up to 100 meters) without signal loss or the need for an external power source on both sides. </p>
<p>The adapter allows integration of new equipment with a USB Type C port without disassembling an existing USB2 or USB3 Type A connection.</p>
<p>The adapter supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 with data rates up to 5Gb/s.</p>
<p>Yes, the USB Type C port is fully reversible, making it easy to connect a device in either direction.</p>
