R-VPX Evolution de Amphenol Socapex es un sistema de interconexión modular COTS que supera las normas VITA 46 y 47. Este sistema de interconexión ofrece un rendimiento de 16 Gb/s y es totalmente compatible con los conectores VITA 46 existentes. El sistema de contacto de 4 puntos está reforzado, tiene una fuerza de acoplamiento baja y una corriente de contacto nominal de 1,5 amperios. Cumple la especificación 46.30 y admite Ethernet, canal de fibra, InfiniBand y otros protocolos. Además, R-VPX Evolution puede combinarse con módulos de alta potencia, módulos RF (VITA 67) y módulos ópticos (VITA 66).
