Amphenol Socapex's R-VPX Evolution is a modular COTS interconnect system that exceeds VITA 46 and 47 standards. This interconnect system offers 16 Gb/s performance and is fully intermateable with existing VITA 46 connectors. The 4 points contact system is ruggedized, has a low mating force, and a contact current rating of 1.5 Amps. It is compliant with 46.30 Spec footprint and can support Ethernet, Fiber Channel, InfiniBand, and other protocols. Additionally, R-VPX Evolution can be combined with high power modules, RF modules (VITA 67), and Optical modules (VITA 66). It is an ideal interconnect solution for commercial and military aerospace, electronic systems, and C5ISR applications.
