<p>Powersafe connectors enable high power transmission (over 500 volts) while being 100% safe for the users. &nbsp;The Powersafe connectors are derived from the D38999 connectors and qualified according to VG96944 standards.<br>Their main benefit is to provide user safety with a first-to-mate earth contact directly linked to the shell. <p>Size 12, 16 &amp; 20 contacts used on 2M layouts are defined in the SAE39029 standard. Pins are the same than series I, II &amp; III and sockets are the same than 38999 series II connectors. <p>Amphenol 2M products are fully Intermateable, Intermountable, and Interchangeable with Glenair Mighty Mouse.</p>

<p>2M connectors are in average 71% Lighter and 52% Smaller than Similar MIL-DTL-38999 Connectors, they are tested under the same test methods than 38999 products and provide the electrical and mechanical performance of a standard MIL-DTL-38999 product (durability, shock, vibrations, etc).<br>&nbsp;</p>
