<p>USB Type-C is a versatile interface that allows the use of a reversible-plug connector. <p>The latest type-C version has 24 pins (compared to 9 in the USB type-A 3.0 version). This construction allows the integration of data transmission, connectivity with video sources, and power delivery.</p> <p>This versatility enables a wide range of configurations, from simple USB 2.0 data transmission to the ability to transmit diverse signals simultaneously. <p>The transmission distance is standardized for a guaranteed maximum distance of 1 meter without signal loss. You can select receptacles with 15 cm, 30 cm, 50 cm and 1-meter cable length for more flexibility. In addition, the opposite end of the cable includes a USB Type-C plug (non-rugged).</p> <p>In case you need to transmit your data over a distance of more than one meter, Amphenol Socapex offers specific signal amplifiers. <p>Depending on the Part Number you selected, you have&nbsp;different back terminations options&nbsp;that enable you to integrate your receptacle properly into your system:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Type 2 - Male termination</strong>: you can connect your system to the recepatcle thanks to a cordset equiped with a female plug.</li> <li><strong>Cordset with standard type-C plug</strong>: you can connect your cordset with your plug to a standard.
