RVPX connector is a ruggedized, high-speed, board-to-board interconnect system capable of data rates in excess of 10 Gbps, meeting and exceeding VITA 46 standards. This connector system gives users modularity and flexibility by utilizing PCB wafer construction with customized wafer-loading patterns.

There are several versions of RVPX connectors:

  • RVPX standard : first generation capable of 10 Gbps data rate transfer performance.
  • RVPX Evolution 1 : first evolution capable of 16+ Gbps data rate performance.
  • RVPX Evolution 2 : second evolution capable of 32 Gbps date rate performance. It is the fastest VITA 46.30 connector in the world.

Yes, all RVPX products are qualified according VITA46 standard. They are fully intermountable & intermateable to existing VITA 46 connectors.
R-VPX also meets and exceeds VITA47.

Backplane connector is the legacy connector - therefore no changes are necessary on the backplane.

Yes, you can mix both RVPX standard and RVPX Evolution 1 or 2 on the same board. For example you can use a standard RVPX connector for P0/P1 and an RVPX evolution connector for P2.
