What is the difference between an lc and sc connector?
Simplex connector
-SC connector (Suscriber Connector) is a square connector with a push mechanism. It is equipped with an optical termini with an o.d. 2.5mm
-LC Connector : Lucent connector is a square connector with latch mechanism. It is equipped with an optical termini with an o.d. 1.25mm
LC connector is smaller than SC connector. Where you can place 1 SC connector, you can place 2 LC connector. The density is double.
