387TV Series - size 7 connector description

The 387TV Series is a micro-miniature connector size 7 that offers high-speed data transmission in a small package. The 387TV Series connector is an excellent choice for applications that require high-speed data transmission in a compact and lightweight design.

The shell is derived from the MIL-DTL-38999 Series III connectors and features an insert arrangement of 07-05 with a monocavity size 8, which is compatible with size 8 high-speed contacts and fiber optics. This connector is available in aluminum, marine bronze, and stainless steel, and it is compatible with both crimp and PC-Tail contacts.

The 387TV Series connector is ideal for use in battlefield networks, soldier wearable equipment, avionics, Ethernet switches, media converters, manpacks, digital radios, data acquisition equipment, navy applications, and missiles. The available shells include jam-nut receptacles (standard, reduced flange, and stand-off reduced flange), oval flange receptacles equipped with clinch-nuts, and straight plugs.

This connector also offers a range of copper contacts, including quadrax, coax (50 ohms and 75 ohms), and octomax 1Gb (10 Gb coming soon), as well as fiber optic options (available Q2 2020) with MT ferrules and 2 size 16 luxbeams. The 387TV Series connector is an excellent choice for applications that require high-speed data transmission in a compact and lightweight design.
